Brenda Mosley
Brenda graduated from Pensacola Christian College in 1994 and immediately moved to Guam to teach English and Kindergarten to 3-year-old Asian children. She says the first words she taught them were "sit" and "quiet!"
In 2002, she moved back home to Jacksonville and obtained a Florida Insurance License to begin a new career with the Sam Maxwell Insurance Agency. Brenda diligently worked her way up from Customer Service Representative to Office Manager until, in 2007, she bought the Personal Lines business from her brother-in-law, Sam Maxwell, who had finally retired at the tender age of 79.
Having a degree in both education and business has provided her with the knowledge required to run a profitable agency as well as specialize in writing insurance for Daycare and Nursery School Facilities.
Misty Maxwell
Misty started her insurance career in 1988 as a clerk typist for a local Managing General Agency, working her way up to Property and Garage Underwriter. In 1992 she began working for the Sam Maxwell Insurance Agency as a Licensed Insurance Agent.
Misty has continued with the agency until she retired with her husband, Sam Maxwell. However, she came back to the agency when her sister, Brenda, took over in 2007.
Her years of experience have gien her the knowledge to write business insurance for Contractors, Small Business, Commercial Property, as well as, Child Care Facilities.
